QUINTA DO RIO TOURO

La Quinta is located in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, a unique location with the magic of the best panoramic views of the Tagus River mouth and the secret beaches of Cascais.
Placed in an opened 3 hec. valley, it is the perfect place to enjoy. It also has a perfect microclimate at any season of the year. All this, set by a subtropical vegetation, with a meticulous orientation to the south and searching building integration in an exuberant nature.
The main and guest house keep the traditional original architecture, but at the same time, featuring a new, modern and very welcoming lenguage. Maria Gabriela and Fernando are the owners and hosts. They have lived in many places of the world and represent a good example of the Portuguese hospitality.
The main house offers 2 suites and 2 double bedrooms:
*Azenha, main suite, lunges, bathroom with jacuzzi, 2 small rooms, terrace and private balcony with view over the ocean.
*Dai-Nippon rooms: double bedrooms with private bathroom.
*Casa das Hortas: an independent lodging that can shelter a family or group of friends. It has a double bedroom, private bathroom, small room and big terrace with views of the sea. It also features another suite with private bathroom, room with fireplace and kitchenette.
The common areas are the living room, with satellite TV and fireplace, and the dining room. At the outside, there is a sheltered court where the microclimate of the area can be enjoyed and a terrace that connects the house and the upper garden. To keep the peace and calmness, there is a big swimming pool at only 50 metres from the houses. A sauna will be open soon.
There are small and big sandy beaches nearby, excellent for windsurfing. Sailing, horse riding and fishing can also be practiced. There are also 6 golf courses and wide chances for trekking and cycling.
In the surroundings, at 400 metres, is located the town of Azóia, where you can enjoy the local gastronomy or the cultural and leisure offer. At summer season, Sintra and Cascáis/Estoril offer art, music and dancing festivals. All the round year, the Casino of Estoril offers many attractions.
