The Posada de San Jose, which was built during the XVlll century, is situated in heart of the historic quarter of Cuenca. The building retains its past monastic characteristics for it was the San Jose Choir School which echoed to the voices of boys rehearsing masses to be sung in the nearby cathedral. The Posada de San Jose offers a choice from 22 tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms, most of which enjoy stunning views over the gorge and garden. Single, double and family rooms, some with balconies or small terraces, are available.
