An old mill, isolated from the town, was adapted to provide lodging for up to two people. The peaceful property is ideal to rest and enjoy the views of the river and the surrounding landscape. The house has a spacious bedroom, a living room with a fireplace, TV, bathroom and kitchen.
Outside, there is a wide, well looked after garden, with old mill wheels serving as table and chairs. The ambience invokes an air of serenity, while watching flocks of wild ducks and storks.
The property is situated 16 km. from Famalicao, 15 km. from Barcelos, 18 km. from Póvoa do Varzim e Vila do Conde, small coastal villages with a complete infrastructure of restaurants, supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, etc.
At Povoa de Varcim there is a small fishing harbour, still active, and a funny marketplace that opens every Friday.
