LA RIGUERA

La Riguera rural lodgings are located in the middle of the heart of Oyambre Natural Park, in the municipality of San Vicente de la Barquera (Western coast of Cantabria).
Four houses for full rental with different capacities (total capacity of 19 places). Restored in 2002 and located in a privileged spot: a 16,000 m2 estate (with an easy access to higway N-634) where one can easily get calmed and relaxed in a rural atmosphere.
La Solana sleeps three people and it is layed out in three floors. It features a 90 cm studio-couch in a reading corner and a 1.35 m bed next to a fireplace in a mezzanine. It is fully equipped with home-electricals, household and linnen. It has a wonderful porch with wicker furniture where one can enjoy a quiet landscape of views and sounds.
La Casona (The Large House) is a typical highland house that features a row of balconies with relaxing views. It features 3 bedrooms, for 7 people, that are layed out in three floors. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen-lounge-dinning room and a living room with TV. The first floor features two bedrooms with a 1.35 m. bed and 1.50 m. bed, and a wide main bathroom. The second floor features a main bedroom with a 1.50 m. wrought full bed, a 90 cm studio-couch, a small reading corner and a toilet.
The most outstanding items of La Casa de Enmedio (The house in the middle) are its stone walls, the fireplace and the large windows' hand painted glasses. Fully equipped kitchen with household appliances and linnen. It sleeps 5 people in two original and cozy bedrooms with bathroom. It also features a small terrace in the roof.
La Socarreña was an old stable that has been turned in a wonderful house that sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms (one of the bedrooms has a 1.35 m. bed and the other a 90 cm. bed) and features a porch and a small lounge with a 90 cm. studio-couch. The wooden floors and stairs' stone walls furnish a rural atmosphere without missing the practical home electricals, household appliances and linnen. The wide lounge-kitchen-dinning room with fireplace and the taste by the small details make your stay a pleasant and welcoming time.
Santa Marina Golf Court, an 18 holes court designed by Severiano Ballesteros, is located at 5 minutes away from the lodging and the town center, tradition, history and white sand beaches of San Vicente de la Barquera are located at 3 Km away. It also need to be mentioned its famous gastronomy, mainly based in sea products.
Closed plases of interest: Picos de Europa (45'), Santillana del Mar (20'), Santander (30' highway) and even the region of Asturias (due to its nearness).
