La Posada de Somo is the result of a deep restoration that has preserved the original materials: oak wood on ceilings and floors, stone, clay... This was the way to get a smart lodging of 11 bedrooms, brought up to date but with the charm of yesterday.
The bedrooms feature: bathroom, TV, welcoming products, minibar (under request), etc. Some of them are connected wich make them ideal for families.
Special mention deserves the 35 m2 suite with living room, hydromassage bathtub, fireplace, and amazing bay windows; a suite that can satisfy the most sybaritic guest.
In the common areas you can find a welcoming lounge with fireplace, library, cafeteria, and table games; a porch; and a pleasant garden. It also features a parking.
La Posada is located in the Municipality of Ribamontan al Mar, wich outstands by the quality of the beaches, small mounts, local tracks, paths, and big grasslands.
In addition, it is an ideal starting point to visit Cantabria beacause it is located at a few kilometres away from several places of interest like Santander, Cabárceno, Santillana...
You can also taste breakfasts and dinners based on the local gastronomy (home made marmalades, 'sobaos', eggs and farmyard chikens, etc.)
Surroundings: park for kids and sport facilities at 100 metres.
