Avíos House was a traditional house of stockbreeders that has been restored following the guidelines of the rural architecture of Cantabria. Due to this reason, local stone, oak wood, and chestnut wood have been used, preserving the old oak balks as decorative elements.
The dimensions of the original building have allowed to build two fully separate houses of 170 m2 and 150 m2. Each house features its own entry and its own 250 m2 garden.
Both houses have the same shape: a ground floor (the garden is at the same level) and an upper floor. The ground floor features a hall, a lounge-dinning room with fireplace, a toilet, and a kitchen with dinning area and equipped with refrigerator-freezer, ceramic hob, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, and the usual small homeelectricals.
The upper floor features three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The main bedroom features a private bathroom.
Casa Norte (170 m2 big) is 20 metres bigger than Casa Sur (150 m2 big) because the lounge-dinning room and the kitchen of Casa Norte are bigger than those of Casa Sur. The bedrooms and bathrooms of the upper floor are about the same size in both houses.
It is located in the village of Avíos, at 2 Km away from the coast. It features magnificent views towards the sea and the valleys of the interior. It also offers the chance to organize routes over the whole geography of Cantabria (Picos de Europa, natural parks, coastal areas...).

HEMOS ESTADO 6 DIAS UNA FAMILIA DE 10 PERSONAS EN ESTAS ENCANTADORAS CASAS Y LA EXPERIENCIA NO HA PODIDO SER MEJOR. NO NOS HA FALTADO DE NADA: ENTORNO MARAVILLOSO, CASA SUPER ACOGEDORA, TRANQULIDAD Y LIBERTAD ABSOLUTA PARA DISFRUTAR A TOPE DE ESTOS DIAS DE ASUETO. GRACVIAS POR COMPATIR CON NOSOTROS ESTA PROPIEDAD QUE NOS HA HECHO VALORAR AUN MAS LOS ESPACIOS NATURALES Y SENCILLOS. LO RECOMENDAREMOS (NO MUCHO PARA NO INVADIR LA ZONA) Y VOLVEREMOS. Hemos estado el 14 y 15 de Mayo y la estancia ha sido muy agradable. La casa está muy bien.

Casa de avios

Hemos estado los dias 6, 7 y 8 de mayo. La casa preciosa, muy bien decorada, limpisima, el propietario un sol, muy atento. Nos ha encantado. La recomiendo a todo el mundo. No nos ha faltado de nada. En resumen, una maravilla. Gracias Luis.

puente del pilar

este puente del pilar fuimos a la casa de avios nos alojamos en la casa sur en total estuvimos 4 adultos y tres niños la casa fantastica,el lugar inolvidable y muy tranquilo cerca de todo y que deciros del propietario muy atento y muy agradable recomiendo el sitio a todo el mundo seguro que tarde o temprano repetimos desconectas de todo.una pasada.gracias

Un fin de Año tranquilo y feliz

...el que hemos pasado toda la familia en estas dos preciosas casas contiguas. El paisaje desde ellas es una maravilla y el dueño es encantador. Recomendable al cien por cien.

RECOMENDADA 100%

Hemos estado éste fin de semana 6 personas con nuestros dos perritos (Greta y Yaco) en la casa norte. Son dos casas rurales preciosas, cuidadas hasta el último detalle y por si fuera poco con unos dueños encantadores. No le puedo poner ninguna pega, el precio esta de maravilla en relación a la calidad y desde que dejas la maleta ya te sientes como si la casa fuera tuya porque tiene de todo. MUY RECOMENDADA.
