HOTEL PLAZA DE TOROS DE ALMADÉN

This hotel started life as Almaden’s Bullring, which was built in 1752 to host one of the first of its kind in Spain and the world. Its original purpose was to raise funds to create a Miner Hospital. It has a singular hexagonal constitution bordered by a double gallery above the bullring. Because of these distinctive and spectacular features, the place was acknowledged as a National Monument .
The building was restored, respecting its original structure, building features and materials, and transformed into a splendid hotel. Decoration is sympathetic with the place’s historic activity, yet provided with all kind of modern comfort. The 23 spacious, comfortable rooms (five of them fist-rate) are exquisitely decorated. The wrought-iron and wooden furniture, combined with the original construction, invoke a magical atmosphere. Each room has a unique identity and is provided with individual heating, TV, safety box, minibar, Internet and bathroom.
The restaurant, with is soft lighting, elegant decoration and customized attention, makes the perfect setting to enjoy the delicious traditional cuisine that delights even the most demanding guests.
