This hotel was built on an old XIX-century house that belonged to the Riospaso Marquis . It comprises 30 double rooms with bathroom, TV and heating (nine of them have available extra beds).
Facilities include a living room with a fireplace and a hallway overlooking the valley and the Ubiña mountain mass .
The restaurant serves traditional local dishes made with products from the country and the Asturian sea.
Next to the hotel is an old school, converted into a classroom for up to 60 people for courses and conventions.
Activities: hiking, mountaineering (to the Castillines and Peña Ubiña mountains), cross-country skiing, horseback riding and fishing .
Nearby attractions: ski trails (Pajares trails 45 minutes away and San Isidro trails), nautical sports in the Barrios de Luna and Casares reservoirs .
Permanent exhibitions of Asturian mythological paintings.
The hotel offers mountain attractions: snow-covered peaks, vast meadows with small lagoons, beeches, holly trees, chestnut trees, hazelnut trees and oak trees. The forests are home of protected species, such as bears, capercaillies, eagles and wolves. Since 2006, the place is a protected area.
Other nearby attractions are Santa Cristina de Lena Church (IX century), San Juan de los Prados Church, and Santa María del Naranco Church.
