CORNATELIA

Recently restored and surrounded by gardens (600 m2), this building of the nineteenth century keeps its original architectonic style and construction materials (sun-dried brick, wood, stone, slate...). This rural accomodation, named Cornatelia, can be fully rented or rented by rooms which includes breakfast service.
Undergoing an expansion proccess, at the moment it consists of an apartment which can hold up to five people and of two double bedrooms with bathroom and TV, plus another one for three people and finally one bedroom for two people. All of them with maximum comforts.
Available to all guests is a library with more than 1500 books of different subjects, a small etnographic museum and an ancient well which is still used to water our garden and to lessen our thirst.
You will have the opportunity to taste the vegetable garden products as well as to get to know what living in the countryside means.
Fully placed in the district of El Bierzo, a green paradise and a transition point between Leon and Galicia, a place of an enormous natural and cultural richness. Here you will enjoy hiking and mountain bike routes, rent horses (only twenty minutes from our accommodation ), and also get to know the misterious landscape of Las Medulas, the monasteries or the nearby Ponferrada.
